I was born in a small town in Idaho when people left their doors unlocked and let their children play outside all day without fear. I've made a buck doing nearly everything. I've been around. I've lived by my grit and my wits. Now the sins of my youth are being visited upon me and I have the time in my creeping decrepitude to reflect on the past, comment on the present and make a suggestion or two about the future.
